The 2014 second council meeting of Shanghai Ceramics Association (SCA) was held on Oct. 10th 2014. The chairman, vice chairman, secretary general and council members attended the meeting. The main topics of this meeting were: 1) the recent progress of preparation of election for next council reported by election working group; 2) discussion on the candidates of next session of council, chairman, vice chairman and secretary general of SCA; 3) introduction of the procedure of election for expiration and special issue for the tenth anniversary of SCA; 4) making primary decision of date, place and related preparation of election. It was primarily decided that the election will be held in early January of 2015. The chairman and secretary general to be elected for the next session of SCA were also carefully considered and this consideration will seek for comments and feedback from member units of SCA afterwards.
