To promote industrial associations and enterprises to understand and participate in the strategic OBAOR construction a symposium organized by Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations (SFEO) was held on June 9th. The Director of Foreign Investment Research Centre of Shanghai Academy of Social Science Mr.Li Xiaogang was invited to present a report “OBAOR and Shanghai industrial economic development”. The president of SFEO Mr.Jiang Yiren presided over the symposium. More than 150 representatives from industrial associations and enterprises in Shanghai attended the symposium. The Secretary General of SCA was invited to participate in the symposium. The strategic OBAOR is the key emphasis in economic work and closely related with Shanghai industrial and economical development. The primary mission, progress, business chance, difficulties in implementation of OBAOR and the opportunities for Shanghai were expounded emphatically in his report. Finally President Jiang made a brief summary of the symposium.
