On May 14th, 2018 The 10th Shanghai International Industrial and Advance Ceramics Exhibition was opened in the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) which is the largest individual exhibition area in the world. The 3 days’ exhibition was sponsored by Shanghai Ceramic Association and Chinese Materials Research Society. The aim of the exhibition is to establish a interaction platform for communication amongst industrial ceramic manufacturers, industrial ceramic end users, raw material and equipment manufacturers and research institutes in order to promote the development of industrial ceramics in China.
The exhibition area was 13,000 m2. 298 famous enterprises at home and abroad participated in the exhibition. The deep development of energy-saving, environmental protection, intelligent manufacturing and high efficient production reflected the development trend and market demands of industrial ceramics industry in China. The group members of Shanghai Ceramic Association - Shanghai Tao Bao Advanced Ceramic Material Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Shenxingjian Compressor Co., Ltd. demonstrated high strength zirconia material for medical, textile, kitchen appliance and also demonstrated environment-friendly and energy-saving water-lubricated oil-free screw air compressor, respectively. The “advanced ceramic achievements area” of the exhibition co-demonstrated by Tong Ji University, Dong Hua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Shanghai University became the highlight of the exhibition and attracted a lot of visitors to make consultation and trade talks.
“The 2018’ Shanghai International Symposium on Advanced Ceramic Technology” sponsored by Shanghai Ceramic Association discussed the hot topics of industrial technology concentrated on the subject “Research and application of energy saving and environmental protection technology in advanced ceramic industry”. The symposium attracted near 150 participants from enterprises, research institutes and universities to conduct warm and enthusiastic communication.
